Based on these findings, 220 scientists and doctors issued an open letter to all governments, public health officials, doctors and healthcare workers calling for immediate widespread increased vitamin D intakes.

Magnesium and vitamin K2 both optimize the effects of Vitamin D. According to James DiNicolantonio, Pharm.D. “Magnesium is needed to activate vitamin D.” Vitamin K2 also boosts Vitamin D. 

According to a March 2021 study, quercetin was ranked 5 out of 18 compounds which candidates assessed to interfere with SARS-CoV-2 replication. Researchers have shared evidence which suggests using quercetin with Vitamin C to produce antiviral and immunomodulatory effects.
